Briefing
Henk Voorwinde has his own company, that specializes in fixing things in the house. You could say he is an allround handyman, that specializes in preventing water and moist getting in unwanted places (also known as “moisture barriers”).

Strategy
Developing a logo represents the strong work he and his men do on a daily basis, but.. also giving away sutble hints of their expertise in water prevention. And there is room for abstraction. Because he calls himself just an ordinary guy, not too fancy.

Concept
Trying to put emphasis on a “drop of water”, but not taking it too literal. Thus still keeping it abstract and mysterious, without giving away the clue. And yet it has to represent some kind of iconic organic individual. Which will be used for printing on sweaters, business cards and the sides of the van.
